One-to-One
Problem solving, teaching and training
Owning a dog shouldn’t be problematic but a pleasure! A one-to-one is a tailored morning or afternoon available for owners who would like guidance and support in teaching new skills, resolving common training issues and improving their overall relationship and connection with their dog. It can include addressing issues and trouble-shooting problems such as jumping up, stealing food, implementing general house-hold manners, as well as teaching or building on skills such as loose lead walking, recall and leave.
A one-to-one usually takes place in the owners own home and starts with a brief introduction, followed by a discussion about your dog, any training issues you are having, goals you may have and important topics such as your dogs exercise regime, socialisation skills and diet. We will talk through your problems, how I feel is best to help address them and start some training together so you can start off on the right foot. I will leave you with informative handouts which will be yours to keep. This gives you something to follow and refer back to in writing.
